This weekend we attended the Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim. We were thrilled to find many new organic products for our store that we will have available soon. We even met Jordan Rubin, Best-Selling author of "The Maker's Diet" and "The Great Physician's Rx for Health & Wellness". He is currently on his nation-wide, "Perfect Weight America" Tour and gave us each signed copies of his new book. That was very exciting since Sarah is a Certified Biblical Health Coach and received that certification from Jordan Rubin's Biblical Health Institute.
Also at the Expo, we had the pleasure of meeting Amy Schrader, owner of Kee-Ka, Inc. in person for the first time. The name Kee-Ka is reminiscent of the lovely babbling of infants. From start to finish, Kee-Ka strives to be environmentally friendly in all company practices. They use 100% certified organic cotton, low-impact dyes, fair trade, and even eco-friendly packaging. Another very notable way Kee-Ka gives back is through their generosity with St. Jude's Children's Hospital. They donate products and are even planning a line of organic clothing featuring the artwork of children who are patients in the hospital.
